Amy has demonstrated courteous, reliable care up to five days a week since May 2023 for Jack: flushing his catheter line and helping alert him whether he might have a clog developing from bladder stones. This has helped spare dad from ER trips that used to be regular for him. She keeps his schedule very efficiently, she’s an effective communicator if plans change, and she keeps an eye out for his wife with dementia, making good recommendations for her as well. The bottom line is that a hallmark for knowing you have a solid caregiver is whether he or she cares for the patient served or is just doing the work and leaving.
